It's nearly March and I have a question: If you have the luxury of vacation days, have you taken any yet? Me neither. But Jameson Irish Whiskey REALLY wants to change that, especially with their fave holiday coming up. In fact, Jameson will pay some of their fans to take time off on St. Patrick's Day so they can celebrate.
Though St. Patrick's Day isn't for another month, the brand is dedicating from now until March 17 for what they're calling SPTO, or St. Patrick’s Time Off. Jameson will be giving some lucky people $50 to cover the cost of their St. Patrick’s Day festivities while they set their email to an out of office message, enjoy a drink, and relax (hopefully?). If you're wondering how to enter to be one of the lucky few on Jameson's holiday payroll, you can pledge to take the day off here.
Once you do so, you'll get a special Drizly code and be entered to be one of the 1,000 people who will win $50 to use towards St. Patrick’s Day festivities (...like staying home and drinking on your couch!). If you win, Jameson will also donate $50 in your name to the Restaurant Workers' Community Foundation. Even if you don't win, you can also donate directly to the fund here.
Since you can't exactly celebrate as normal, you'll also be provided some entertainment courtesy of the brand.
