In some sense, it's both an honor and a privilege to be roasted by Gordon Ramsay himself. His attitude is what he's best known for and if you happen to get his attention on Twitter or TikTok he'll often respond exactly as he would on any of his cooking competition shows. When he's not dancing with his daughter on the TikTok platform he's roasting other users on their cooking adventures as he did with a "Cucumber Wellington" a few days ago.

True fans of Gordon know that his Beef Wellington is one of his most famous dishes. His recipe includes a long process that makes a beautifully cooked meat with a wonderfully scored puff pastry on top, so he definitely knows what he's talking about when it comes to the dish. Gordon also often shows dissatisfaction toward plant-based versions of famous dishes, so it's no surprise this Cucumber Wellington didn't go over very well with the chef.

The original post included a cook preparing a cucumber with a mushroom paste and a lettuce leaves using what appears to be a totally raw cucumber. Now I'm no Wellington expert but I would think a completely raw cucumber would water down the dish and end up being a pile of mush after the cooking process.

Gordon, of course, didn't have kind words to say and after looking appalled and screaming "WHAT?!" at the camera throughout the short video he told the original poster what he really felt. "How do you insult Wellington?! Oh kid you need to get back to the vegan teacher's classroom, you donut!"

Gordon is nothing if not consistent and as long as I'm not at the receiving end of his wrath it does make me laugh!
