Popeyes announced today that it is officially getting into the fish sandwich game in a way that only the chain can. Popeyes will launch its very first fish sandwich—the Cajun Flounder Sandwich—starting this week.

At a time when deliciously fried fish sandwiches are everywhere, Popeyes obviously had to set its apart, and judging by the description, this one is definitely worth a try. It's made with the same buttery toasted brioche bun with barrel cured pickles that you may know from the chain's insanely viral and insanely delicious chicken sandwich. Add in its flounder filet seasoned in a blend of Cajun seasoning and fried up golden brown, and this sounds next level. Top it Popeyes tartar sauce and you've got a sandwich worth writing home about.

Popeyes knows that you have a LOT of options for fried fish sandwiches around this time of year, but the chain also knows that you're going to LOVE its version. So that's why Popeyes is launching "Sandwich Insurance." For anyone who tries the sandwich and doesn’t like it, Popeyes will replace it with its beloved Chicken Sandwich for free with the purchase of insurance (which is 10 cents on the Popeyes app) on launch day. Not a bad deal!

Oh, by the way, you might be wondering when the launch day is! You can pick up this sandwich starting on Thursday, as in tomorrow! The new Cajun Flounder Sandwich will be available in restaurants and for delivery nationwide for $4.49. Enjoy!
