I am once again asking you to go to Dairy Queen and order something that is not a Blizzard. I get it, I do! The Blizzards are SO good...I would bring a Reese's Blizzard with me if I was stranded on a desert island (more like DESSERT island, am I right???). But Dairy Queen has so much more to offer than Blizzards, including this Mint Chip Shake you simply don't want to miss out on, okay??
This glorious new creation, previously reported on by Chewboom, is just the latest delicious entry into the mint chocolate genre, of which we just didn't get enough this winter! It's made with crème de menthe and chocolate cone coating (um, YUM!), as well as milk, and, of course, DQ vanilla soft serve, for a treat that's equal parts refreshing and seasonal. Oh, and if you're a fan of the chain's classic Mint shakes, Chewboom says you can still ask for the original without the cone coating pieces and you'll be all set.
This brand new menu item is available at participating Dairy Queen locations for a limited time, along with the new Red Velvet Cake Blizzard. I know, I just told you not to think about Blizzards right now, but um, maybe you and your roommate or partner or whoever you live with can order one of each and have a delicious dessert feast. Sounds like the perfect Valentine's Day in the drive-thru to me!!!
