As Americans wait for President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris to drop "Elect" from their titles within the next few hours, the stars have aligned to see them through their inauguration—literally. Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato, Chrissy Teigen, and John Legend all arrived to wish our next president and VP well, and they were joined by a fellow A-lister and Biden supporter: Jennifer Lopez.
J.Lo and her fiancé Alex Rodriguez are in D.C. in honor of the start of the Biden administration. Lopez is set to perform a musical number, but first, she came to town wearing head-to-toe Chanel.
J.Lo and A-Rod have both been vocal supporters of Biden and Harris since before the 2020 election. They sat down for a virtual chat with President-Elect Biden and Dr. Biden back in October while encouraging people to vote.
"For me, it’s [about] unifying the nation again, you know, getting rid of this hate," Lopez said. "Thinking about my kids walking around in a world where it’s OK to be racist or prejudiced because our administration says it’s OK—that, to me, is really sad because it’s not the country that I believe that I grew up in."
