Shake Shack is offering a new Korean-inspired menu for a limited time. You know what that means? It’s time to make your way to the nearest Shack—or smash that contactless pick-up or delivery order button—to try these new eats while they’re available.
“Our take on Korean-Style Fried Chick’n was such a hit at our Shacks in South Korea, we had to bring it to the US,” Shake Shack shared on Instagram. The chain’s Korean-style fried chick’n comes in two forms: a sandwich and bites. The sandwich is made of a gochujang-glazed crispy chicken breast on top of white kimchi slaw from @choiskimchi that’s all nestled in between Shake Shack’s classic potato rolls. The bites are exactly what you’d expect and come with a side of gochujang mayo sauce for dipping. You can also get the chain’s crinkle cut fries with a side of gochujang mayo sauce.
In the comments of Shake Shack’s Korean-inspired menu announcement, people shared their excitement and reviews. “I will take some credit, I did eat about 10 while in South Korea,” user @mikexingchen wrote. Others shared they want to try the new items ASAP.
The new Korean-inspired menu will be available at most Shake Shack locations for a limited time. The chain hasn’t specifically revealed how long the menu will be around. If you want to try the new items, it’s best to avoid procrastination!
