Dunkin's Sugarplum Macchiato is an all-new beverage for the holiday season that has been in the works since 2016, the brand wrote on their blog. The flavor took years to perfect and has hints of blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, and plum with notes of vanilla and sugar. The most show-stopping part of the drink may just be how it looks, as it has a beautiful ombre effect of of deep brown and light purple making it totally Insta-worthy.
The flavor profile and color effect is all because of the crafted mix of premium espresso, milk, and sugarplum flavor in the drink. This Sugarplum Macchiato joins Dunkin's holiday drink menu that includes the Peppermint Mocha Latte, Gingerbread Latte, and Chai Oatmilk Latte. Like many other Dunkin' beverages, it can be ordered as either hot or iced.
If you fancy a bite to eat along with your drink, Dunkin' has a snowflake donut that is frosted with purple icing and has snowflake sprinkles on top, making it a must-try for the holiday and winter season. FYI, the chain is also 10-count boxes of Munchkins for $2 through December 29, so looks like the holidays came early this year.
