Anyone who prefers their fruit to taste like candy has probably devoured bags and bags of cotton candy grapes by now. But they’re only sold in stores during limited periods throughout the year. Luckily, Walmart is now selling cotton candy-flavored grape juice that will hopefully be around 24/7. It’s a dreamy drink you’ll want to have as dessert and spike with Champagne come New Year's.
The Cotton Candy Grape Juice Cocktail is made by Walmart’s Great Value brand. The sweet drink comes in a 64-fluid ounce bottle and contains no added sugar. It promises to give “you 100 percent of your recommended daily allowance of vitamin C in a single serving,” according to the product description. You can drink it alone, turn it into a cocktail, or make popsicles out of it. You can even turn it into ice cubes to add to the juice or give your glass of water a touch of sweetness. Each bottle costs less than $3 at Walmart. FYI, you can buy it online!
As far as cocktails go, mixing the juice with Champagne for New Year's seems like the move. In the meantime, if you don’t want to add bubbly, you could mix it with a seltzer or add vodka to it. Maybe you could even soak regular grapes in it? That way, if cotton candy grapes aren’t in season, you can DIY your own. Not sure if that’d work, but someone please try and report back!
