Whether it’s as a drink or in a treat, hot chocolate is a staple of the holiday season. Auntie Anne’s has its own take on the sip with the Hot Chocolate Frost. Just a heads up: It’s not hot.
The frosty drink is made up of frozen hot chocolate that’s topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup. So it has everything you love about a classic hot cocoa in a mug — but it’s a frozen version. It’s especially good for people who continue to drink super cold beverages even in the winter (we see you, iced coffee drinkers).
“We all know the holidays can be hectic,” Marcel Nahm, Auntie Anne’s vice president of marketing, said in a press release last year. “We just want Hot Chocolate Frost to lift our guests from the stress and add a touch of happiness to their day. And perhaps, help them make a holiday memory with a friend or loved one.”
The Hot Chocolate Frost first came out in 2019, and Auntie Anne’s just announced that it is “back by popular demand” for 2020. If its availability is anything like last year, you’ll be able to get it until early January. And since we’ll be at Auntie Anne’s anyway, obviously we’ll be picking up some Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Nuggets to complete this sugar trip.
