ICYMI: Starbucks has been dropping all sorts of goodies in the past week or so including a line of holiday gifts like reusable hot and cold cups, as well as bringing back its holiday drinks to stores. But if you thought they were done, you were WRONG. People have been spotting a new fun holiday treat in stores that will fill you with the spirit of the holidays: COLOR. CHANGING. CUPS.
These little beauties were first spotted by the bloggers over on Totallythebomb.com and they just might be our new fave holiday item. The cup starts out a rich, deep green (think Christmas tree) but once you pour in the hot liquid of your choice, it changes to what some are calling a red, but looks almost like a dark pink on camera. They apparently spotted these at the Starbucks within their local Target so that might be a good place to start looking if you're eyeing these for yourself. They're only $3 so I'd say that's pretty much a no-brainer that you buy one!
Starbucks just released information about them today on their website and it looks like they're not the only new color-changing cups on the way to stores. You can also get a six-pack of color-changing cups designed with candy canes on them for around $17, as well as a five-pack of Glitter Cold Cups for $19.
I, for one, am happy that hot coffee cups are getting the color-changing treatment. Be on the lookout for all of the cups mentioned at your local Starbucks. They're the best stocking stuffers around!
