Oreo announced that it is continuing its partnership with PFLAG National, the nation's largest family and ally organization, with a new short film and first-of-their-kind, limited-edition #ProudParent Oreo Rainbow Cookies.

The new short film, shown above is called Proud Parent. It centers around the love between two women, Jen and Amy, as well as the challenges that many people can face when bringing a new partner home to meet their families for the first time—especially members of the LGBTQ+ community. No spoilers here, but special focus is placed on Jen's relationship with her father. Viewers are taken on a journey throughout this short film, all while characters speak minimal dialogue. At the end of the film, the quote "A loving world starts with a loving home," flashes across the screen.

On top of the new film, Oreo has created special rainbow cookie packs, which feature seven different colored creme fillings, inspired by the colors of the Pride flag. These special cookie packs will not be sold in stores, but will be given away to "reward acts of allyship for the LGBTQ+ community." To win a pack, you can share a photo of what allyship means to you via Instagram or Twitter. Make sure to tag and follow @OREO, as well as use the hashtags #ProudParent and #Giveaway. Only 10,000 of the packs are available and, again, they will not be sold in stores.
