Update, November 6, 2020: As a GIANT fan of Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies, I simply could not wait to give this cereal a try. The thought of eating little tiny Oatmeal Cream Pies by the spoonful is heaven! And while that's not exactly what happened, our taste test of this Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies Cereal did not disappoint.

When I first opened the box, I dunno why, but I expected the cereal to be shaped like little hand pies. They are not, and that's fair! Making them that shape would be kinda hard. They are, in fact, little puffs of oatmeal made with cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of molasses, which are then doused in a kind of creme coating. The texture really stood out to me. It's not like your typical super-hard cereal, but really stood true to the "puff" description. It was soft yet still pretty crunchy.

I wouldn't say this cereal tastes exactly like the snack cake, but rather that it tastes like it's inspired by it. It was SO surprising on the first bite, but definitely tastes delicious. I couldn't stop eating it, spicy and sweet handful by handful. When you add it to milk, you really get the creme filling flavor too. I finally figured out that to me, they taste like Taco Bell Cinnamon Twists, my very favorite thing on their menu.

This cereal hits shelves next month and if you're a fan of cinnamon and oatmeal flavors, or simply want to give this a try, I would highly recommend it!
