Food Network star Katie Lee announced that she and her husband Ryan Biegel welcomed daughter Iris Marion Biegel this week. Katie posted a photo of herself and baby Iris to Instagram on Thursday, announcing that she had given birth on Wednesday. "Our hearts are so full," she captioned the post showing her holding Iris in the hospital.
"OMGAAAAAAH!!! Iris is so precious!! Lil baby hairs๐๐๐๐ I'm definitely crying!!! Congratulations to you both!!!!!!" her The Kitchen co-host Sunny Anderson commented on the sweet snap. "We did it! She's finally here!" fellow co-host Jeff Mauro commented. "SOOO PRECIOUS!" Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis said.
Katie first publicly announced her pregnancy back in February with an adorable Instagram photo featuring pasta, as well as an emotional announcement to the cast and crew of The Kitchen. "Y'all are going to be aunts and uncles and I love you," she said in the video at the time. "I love all of you and we're all a family."
The star has been candid about her fertility journey, first writing in 2019 about her experiences with IVF and promising that "someday we will have our happy new beginning and I pray any of you experiencing the same will have yours too.โ She acknowledged that journey in her gender announcement post earlier this year.
"They say it takes a village to raise a child, but for some of us, it takes a village to have a child," she wrote. "Each and every one of you who sent me a positive message raised my spirits. Thank you for all of the love as we grow our family."
