Barefoot is introducing a buttery chardonnay to its extensive lineup of boxed wines. The new varietal is perfect for sipping on while cozied up under a blanket this fall, and you can get your hands on it starting in September.
The Barefoot Buttery Chardonnay On Tap has pineapple aromas and is “filled with layers of toasty oak to complement the smooth vanilla finish,” according to a press email. It comes in a box that resembles an ombré stick of butter (if that was a thing). The box is equal to four 750-milliliter bottles of wine and features a tap for easy wine removal. Better yet, the boxed wine stays fresh 30 days after you open it.
You can buy the new wine in stores and online at The Barrel Room in September–which is incredibly soon, believe it or not. The box is going for a suggested retail price of about $19. That, my friends, is surely less than buying four separate 750-milliliter bottles of Barefoot wine. Plus, it's much easier to carry if you snag it in-store.
If you enjoy the buttery wine, you can check out Barefoot’s other 11 boxed wine options that include everything from a classic chardonnay to sunset red blend. The brand also sells cozy clothes that you can lounge in as you drink the wine, enjoy takeout, and binge reality TV. That sounds like a delightful way to spend every day for the rest of this year, don't you think?
