Celebrity royalty Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds made a rare appearance on Instagram on August 16. Blake posted a mask selfie with husband Ryan, and joked about how they'll most likely embarrass daughters James, Inez, and Betty.
"We won't embarrass them at all in middle school," she wrote on the silly pic. I mean, if Blake and Ryan were my parents then they could do whatever they wanted—embarrassing or not.
It's exciting to see Blake and Ryan being themselves because they rarely post personal photos of them or their family. They welcomed their third daughter, Betty, into the world and we didn't find out her name until Taylor Swift revealed it. Taylor's new album, folklore, includes a song titled "Betty." She explained that it was one song in a trio of songs about a fictional high school love triangle. Fans put two and two together because the other characters in the songs are Inez and James aka Blake and Ryan's other daughters' names.
Ryan and Blake love their growing family of five. "They are so happy and excited about having another baby,” a source told People last year. “They really are the most in-love and in-tune couple, and very hands-on parents. They’d have a dozen kids if they could."
Maybe they will since Ryan told People after the birth of their first child that "having a daughter was a dream come true." He added, "If I could have nine daughters, I would be thrilled. Really, like I genuinely would be."
