Today is a very important day, my friends. Not only is it Friday and the end of the month, (congrats on both counts!!), but today is also the day that Krispy Kreme is celebrating two life-changing years of Chocolate Glazed Fridays.
Move over, TGIF. Krispy Kreme has officially proclaimed today TGIC, or "Thank Goodness It's Chocolate." When you purchase any dozen today (Friday, July 31, BTW), you can snag an entire dozen of the donut chain's iconic original glazed donut drenched in a rich chocolate glaze for only $2. That's 12 whole donuts covered in chocolate for less than 17 cents a piece. This is not a drill!!
If you're like me, you'll want to go to your local Krispy Kreme store when the red light is on you so you can scoop up a dozen of these beauties fresh off of the assembly line. If I'm being honest, I live for the little paper hats and the aroma of coffee cascading against fried dough. If you already have your plans for today, which is totally understandable, you can also order some chocolate glazed donuts direct to your door by clicking here, but please know this deal doesn't seem to be available online.
It's a chocolate bonanza these days at Krispy Kreme, which recently revived the three Reese's donuts it sold at points over the last three years. You have until August 16 to get your hands on the (original) Reese's, the Reese's Original Filled Chocolate Lover's Donut, or the Reese's Outrageous Donut.
