There are very few constants in life, but what we do have, we have to hold onto. We can count on the sky to be blue, for Olive Garden breadsticks to be bottomless, and for the Pumpkin Spice Latte to return at Starbucks each fall. And though it's probably no surprise to hear that last one is true again this year, it is pretty comforting to be super sure.
In less poetic terms, yes, the famed Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte will be coming back to menus again this year, USA Today confirmed. Starbucks quickly gave this fan fave a mention on their earnings call this week to ease all of our worries.
The bad news is we did not get a date for when this spicy, sweet drink will be returning to stores BUT last year it returned at the end of August (August 27 to be exact!), so we can all rest assured we're probably only about a month away from pumpkin-y goodness in our daily caffeine fix. I personally am hoping this drink returns with its cute younger cousin, the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, which is a Delish staff favorite. Fingers crossed!
For now, we'll just have to savor our favorite summer Starbucks drinks like the returning champion, the S'mores Frappuccino, and the chain's new almond milk cold foam drinks, which I am personally very obsessed with at the moment. You don't know what you've got til it's gone, so savor it, my friends!
