Music city has a new attraction: A new, over-the-top bar inspired by Dolly Parton just opened atop the Graduate Hotel in Nashville. Named after Parton's 1989 song and album, White Limozeen is full of bright, pink decor and clever nods to the beloved singer-songwriter.
The indoor-outdoor bar is meant to be both luxe and accessible. "We wanted it to feel really approachable and really feasible for everyone to be there, everyone to have a good time, whether you're drinking a can of Natty Light, or you're ordering caviar," Marc Rose, who operates the restaurant, told USA Today.
Inside, the bar's ceilings and walls are painted bright pink with gilded accents. Throughout the interior, you'll find plush seating, circular chandeliers with mirrors, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The statement piece? An onyx wraparound bar lined with pink-and-white chairs.
Outside, pink umbrellas with white scalloped fringe provide shade over colorful seating across the vibrant patio. Even the exterior walls are topped with greenery and painted pink and white.
Visitors can enjoy skyline views of Music City as they lounge on the daybeds or the 3-foot-deep "Governor's Pool."
Mounted above black-and-white checkerboard flooring, a large Dolly Parton statue made from pink chicken wire is visible from all areas of the venue. Country music star Marren Morris recently visited the White Limozeen and took a photo near the statue. She shared the picture on Instagram, captioning the post: "Social distancing & enjoying a gigantic Dolly Parton sculpture this beautiful Nashville Saturday. 🌸💕"
White Limozeen is currently open for reservations via Resy. Amid the ongoing pandemic, the bar is following the guidelines of Graduate Cares, a program designed in partnership with medical professionals at the Cleveland Clinic and Proctor & Gamble. If you plan on traveling during the pandemic, be sure to follow CDC as well as local and national health protocols—and when in doubt, always wear a mask.
