I don't mean to sound like a broken record but...I love hot chips. It's a love affair that my tongue and heartburn don't always agree with yet I can't seem quit. The spicy chips and snacks that keep getting released keep this rendezvous going strong, and the new Chex Mix Max'd with jalapeño chili flavor are the latest to capture my heart—and my stomach.

Chex Mix Max'd are a version of the classic Chex Mix that pack a punch when it comes to flavor. Each bag has the same chex, pretzels, rye chips, and breadsticks of the original, and the bags already come in flavors like spicy dill and Buffalo ranch. Now, this jalapeño chili flavor adds even more spice to the mix.

The beauty of this spicy snack compared to others is that it has chili lime chex pieces as well as jalapeño cheddar pieces. This means that the spice isn't totally overwhelming because the hint of lime and the cheesy coating add more flavor to complement spicy ingredients.

The addition of lime in anything spicy is a great way to add a fresh zesty hint so your tongue isn't burning with every bite. Just like you add fresh lime juice to your guacamole or, if you're like me, on top of your Hot Cheetos, it's a great addition to anything that you don't want to be too hot to handle.

Bags of this new Chex Mix Max'd snack were spotted at 7-Eleven by @SnackGator, but will probably be available wherever you usually buy Chex Mix soon. In my ideal world, these sorts of spicy snacks will make their way into vending machines eventually, but for now looks like I'll be scouring grocery store shelves for my net hot chip fix.
