Fast food is convenient and delicious, and chains are constantly pumping out new menu items so you can switch up your usual order. Prices are already pretty affordable at most places, but every once in a while a deal pops up that saves you some coin and gets you enough food to really fill you up. Take Burger King, for example—they're launching a two-for-$5 mix & match deal starting today.

This deal will replace the current two-for-$6 deal that Burger King offers. It saves you an extra buck, so you can graze on something additional from the dollar menu, or save it for your next fast food stop. Like many promotions, this two-for-$5 deal lets you choose from a select number of menu items that you can pair up for cheap.

In this case, the options include a Whopper sandwich, an original chicken sandwich, a fish sandwich, and nine-piece chicken fries, meaning you can get two of your favorite sandwiches or switch up your proteins to try something different. There are no substitutions available for this deal, so keep that in mind if you're picky or usually go for something else on the Burger King menu.

Unlike some of the other promotions that have been available as of late, this one doesn't require any app download or membership. You can claim your two menu items for $5 at the drive-thru window and order just as you would normally. It's simple as that, and will be available nationwide starting July 23.
