You can never have too many fruity drinks for summer, so welcome to your next seasonal drink obsession: pineapple wine. If you’re already a committed pineapple wine drinker, congrats! If not, it’s time to get on it because you can easily score a bottle of pineapple wine from ALDI.
The grocery chain is selling 750-milliliter bottles of Stella Rosa Pineapple wine. The bottles have a chic simplicity to them and feature the brand’s crown logo with yellow and gold accents all over. The drink is a semi-sweet grape wine with a 5.5 percent ABV and natural pineapple flavors: “Its invigorating, fruity flavor livens your taste buds with such intensity, that you can almost feel the light ocean breeze on your face and warm sand on your toes,” according to Stella Rosa’s website.
The ripe tropical pineapple flavor pairs best with Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Grilled Huli Huli Chicken, and Tropical Fruit Salad, according to the wine’s product page. Any of those pairings would be the perfect addition to a hot summer day. Online, each bottle goes for $8.95 (when it's in stock), so it's likely around the same at ALDI.
The wine also comes in 250-milliliter cans, so you can easily incorporate the drink into your picnic at the park or socially distant beach day. Instagrammer @aldi.mademedoit recently spotted the wine bottles at an ALDI, so hopefully the cans aren’t far behind in stocking up ALDI shelves.
