Ever wonder what movies would be like if they were toast? Same, and there’s a TikToker out there doing the work for us with a whole account dedicated to bringing movie-inspired toast to life so we no longer have to imagine it.
The account @technicolor_toast only started posting TikTok videos a week ago, and the internet is already obsessed with its content. Currently, there are four videos that reimagine the movies Call Me By Your Name, Shrek, Mamma Mia!, and Ratatouille as decadent edible creations.
Each video starts out with an image from the movie or movie poster with the final toast creation photoshopped in. Then you can watch as the creator makes each toast on a table with on-theme decor and carefully selected music. The toasts are so on point–the Ratatouille one literally has the dish it’s named after on it and the Mamma Mia! one features pretty blue flowers that give off all of the Grecian vibes.
Unsurprisingly, people shared their amazement by these toast creations in the comments. “This is the exact content I want to see,” one user wrote. “The whole basis of this account is revolutionary, thank you for your work,” another commented.
And guess what? The creator is taking requests. In her bio, it says her DMs are open. You can also throw requests in the comments, because she’s replied to a few already. Soooo...can this be my formal request for a fancy Great Gatsby toast with edible glitter?
