Chipotle is teaming up with Queer Eye's Karamo Brown to host a "Lunch & Listen" panel about the LGBTQ+ community. He'll be joined by other prominent LGBTQ+ influencers and for every person who watches, Chipotle will donate money to a good cause.
Tomorrow (June 26) at 2 p.m. EST, Karamo will be taking over Chipotle's official TikTok account to host the event. Then, Isabella Avila, Eva Gutowski, and Collins O and other TikTok creators, will join in for the discussion. In a press release, Chipotle Chief Marketing Officer Chris Brandt said that this event was made as a way to celebrate Pride month.
"We wanted to transform our TikTok platform into a resource that both celebrates and educates people about Pride," he said: "Authenticity and inclusion are values that guide much of our decision making as a purpose-driven organization."
Not only will the conversation allow people to open up about their experiences as members of the LGBTQ+ community, but for every viewer who joins live, Chipotle will also donate $1 (up to $50,000) to The Center for Black Equity, an organization that supports Black LGBTQ+ identifying individuals.
Chipotle will also be giving out 10,000 free burrito codes during the stream to encourage fans to host their own Lunch & Listen sessions with friends and family. Additionally, the brand is transforming its Twitter and Instagram social channels with a "Love What Makes You Real" campaign that will share employee stories.
