- Fans now have a chance to video chat with Keanu Reeves.
- A video call with Reeves is being auctioned off for a children's cancer charity.
- The auction will close in less than a week, but you won't believe what the current bid is.
I'm sure you knew this already, but it bares repeating: Keanu Reeves is awesome. Along with being an amazing actor, Reeves is an all-around great guy. I mean, the kind of great guy that once gave a lost fan a ride in his Porsche so she could get to her destination.
Reeves is also extremely charitable, and in 2018 he revealed that he had started a private foundation that funds cancer research, and he once gifted motorcycles to his entire stunt team. Most recently, Reeves announced that he'll be auctioning off a 15-minute Zoom chat for a children's cancer charity.
The proceeds of the auction will go to Camp Rainbow Gold, a children’s cancer organization that provides emotionally empowering experiences to kids in Idaho that have been diagnosed with cancer. The video chat with Reeves is titled, "15-Minutes of Fame with Keanu Reeves," and the description reads, "Get your questions ready and spend 15-minutes with actor, director, producer and musician, Keanu Reeves."
And while a chat with Reeves is definitely priceless, the current bid sits at a very cool $16,700. The auction is set to close on Monday, June 22 at 12 p.m. MDT, so make sure to get your bids in before then.
