Food delivery is a godsend, but sometimes you need more than just food delivered to your home when you're unable to get it from the store. Thankfully, DoorDash has officially partnered up with CVS, and you can get everything from food to over-the-counter medicine straight to your door.
DoorDash is CVS Pharmacy's first-ever delivery partner, and they will be offering over 3,000 CVS items for delivery. This includes health and beauty items, perishable and non-perishable groceries, over-the-counter meds, and household goods. All that is to say that you can get a cart full of nail polish, milk, allergy medicine, and batteries all in one order—and so much more.
At the moment, this partnership is only available in big cities like Dallas, Houston, New York City, and Philadelphia. It will expand to the Bronx, Brooklyn, San Francisco, and Boston this summer and continue to roll out nationwide from there.
Currently, DoorDash's default delivery is no-contact, meaning that your orders will be left at your door as to limit person-to-person contact for safety concerns. To further motivate you to get whatever you need from CVS, you can currently get 20 percent off of your first CVS order of $15 or more through the app.
With the selection and variety available from CVS, I'm sure you can think of something that you've been needing. The only remaining question is, do you still get a crazy long CVS receipt with DoorDash orders? Guess we'll have to order to find out.
