Dunkin' locations are still serving their loyal customers and are now getting ready for re-opening in certain areas. In response, Dunkin' franchises are looking to hire 25,000 new employees to fulfill entry-level positions as well as managerial spots.
This opportunity is meant to open up opportunities to those who need a job during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the brand wants to offer long-term education benefits as well. Through a partnership with Southern New Hampshire University, Dunkin' will offer franchise employees the chance to gain education, business training, and degrees at a low cost.
With the ongoing pandemic, Dunkin' is making sure their locations are as safe as possible for workers and customers alike. While some areas are gearing up to re-open, there will be adjustments to their procedures for the sake of everyone's health.
According to a press release, social distancing will be encouraged inside of the stores, and hygiene training that includes single-use gloves and face masks will be implemented. There will also be plexiglass shields at counters to lessen person- to-person contact and workers will have their temperatures checked before their shifts.
During this time, Dunkin' is prioritizing support to their franchises through these updated procedures and job postings, Dunkin’ Brands’ Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Stephanie Lilak said in a statement.
"Dunkin’ is committed to keeping America running and working," she said: "We are proud to support our franchisees who offer much-needed job opportunities, in a welcoming environment where people can feel appreciated and rewarded for serving both customers and their communities."
You can browse job opportunities online through the Dunkin' website, or can apply in person at your closest location.
