How would you like a side of sandwich with your sandwich? Whole Foods is selling potato chips that taste just like your favorite deli sandwiches, and they’re about to change lunch forever.

Instagrammer @familyfooddude spotted the chips made by Whole Foods’ 365 Everyday Value brand. The chips come in three flavors: pastrami on rye, Italian hoagie, and Cuban press. Eric Koenreich, who runs the food-obsessed account, wrote in the caption of the post dedicated to the chips that all three flavors are worth the purchase, but that the pastrami on rye is the clear frontrunner. All of the chips are your standard potato chips, although kettle-style chips would also be phenomenal in these flavors.

People freaked out in the comments, and rightfully so. Those who had no idea the chips existed seemed to be running to Whole Foods to buy them as they typed their comments (in a safe and socially distant manner, one can only hope!). Those who have already had the chance to try them agreed that the pastrami flavor is the definite winner.

The chip bags say they’re all limited-edition, but hopefully they’ll lose that label and be around indefinitely. I can’t imagine these not being a hit. They’d be perfect if you can’t decide what sandwich you want to eat. You can choose a sandwich, and then get the flavor of a different one through your side of chips. Or if you want an overload of one sandwich flavoring, by all means, have a pastrami on rye with pastrami on rye-flavored chips. The world is your sandwich-flavored, potato-filled oyster!
