Nothing beats a margarita, especially when you don't have to do the work of whipping it all up yourself. Sure, you could beg your roommate or partner to please shake you up a cocktail (I think you deserve it, personally!) or you could let Costco do all the work for you.

For those who don't already know, Costco serves up some pretty delicious and ginormous bottled Golden Margaritas. We previously reported on the kind made with agave wine, but it turns out there is ANOTHER version made with gold tequila and it looks AMAZING.

Let me preface this all by saying these Costco margs are not new to many Costco devotees. In fact, there is an entire Facebook page aptly called Costco Kirkland Margarita Kicks Ass. It does! But some people don't know about it at all and some of us don't know about the tequila version, so just bare with, okay?!

If you're looking at the two different bottled margaritas, you might be wondering how they're different, but it all comes down to the alcohol. The previous version is made with 100 percent de agave wine and you'll see on the bottle it says "Ready-To-Drink Golden Margarita Wine Cocktail."

The version we recently spotted thanks to @costco_nomofomo reads "Premium Golden Margarita Ready-To-Drink" and notes that it's made with gold tequila. Basically, it's going to be a lot more like the traditional tequila cocktails you're used to, all in a bottle and ready to be poured over ice.

"I like to add a shot of Grand Marnier and some diced jalapeños... shake shake shake and viola restaurant quality Jalapeño Margarita," the Instagram account helpfully pointed out. There you have it! This stuff is the real deal.

Other than that, these two pre-made drinks seem to be pretty similar, as they're both in massive bottles (the tequila version is SLIGHTLY bigger, coming in at 1.75 ML rather than 1.5) and both rock a 12.75 percent ABV. It looks like which version your local Costco is offering will depend by location, but you really cannot go wrong.

As an added bonus, @costco_nomofomo noted, usually these bottles go for about $9.99 but right now they're being sold for $8.49 a bottle if you buy six bottles. Of course, this can also vary by location so be sure to check your local store and see if they have this deal. Six bottles may seem like a lot, but let's be real: Summer is coming, the weather is getting warmer and we're all spending a lot more time at home...it's an investment.
