I am firmly of the belief that we all have to lean in to whatever brings us joy right now. And if that thing is scouring the webz for any and all news related to snacks that might be a delicious quarantine pastime, then great. Glad to have you! Also, buckle up, because I'm here to tell you about a fantastic new treat that's sure to satisfy that particular need.
Per @CandyHunting, the good people over at Eggo decided to gift us with a brand new product recently. The account spotted "the new Eggo Thick & Fluffy Salted Caramel" waffles at Target over the weekend and was a-m-p-e-d about it.
Not only is the flavor new, but the "thick & fluffy" of it all means these waffles are likelier a heartier, saltier, more substantial breakfast than the Eggos we're typically used to. The packaging shows the waffles topped with a dollop of either whipped butter or cream (or honestly maybe even ice cream, which, heck yes), and drizzled with a syrup or caramel. Either way—can't go wrong.
The post confirming the new product also mentions Eggo has brought back their beloved Apple Cinnamon waffles as well. Neither of the products is up on Target's website yet, but similar Eggo products are currently going for about $2.99. Most commenters hadn't been able to get ahold of the new or returned waffles yet, but look forward to doing so with much enthusiasm.
