Summer-inspired drinks have to be one of the most thrilling parts of the season. From mango-flavored moscato to pineapple mimosas, fruity drink flavors emerge as the sun comes out. Smirnoff's popular Ice drinks come in a lot of fruity options on the reg. When summer rolls around, though, we get a limited-time flavor fusion called red, white, and berry, and it's already hitting shelves.
Instagrammer @tamisclock spotted the red, white, and berry flavor, and it almost makes me want to celebrate the Fourth of July in April. The six-packs of these festive drinks were found at a Kroger supermarket. The limited-edition flavor blends blue raspberry (IMO, one of the most seasonal-yet-universal flavors), cherry, and citrus. It’s the ideal drink for sipping on in the summer while in close proximity to literally any body of water and surrounded by friends (assuming it is safe to do so, of course!).
Presumably, these will be out all summer or until the Fourth of July at the very least. If you want nothing more than to drink them year-round, here’s an idea: Buy the original (citrus-flavored) Smirnoff Ice and attempt to DIY your own red, white, and berry drink by adding blue raspberry and cherry syrup.
Honestly, I wouldn’t mind being iced with one of these drinks. If you haven’t had the pleasure, that means accidentally finding one of these bottles that someone hid and then being forced to drop to one knee and chug it in its entirety. What's a fun drink without a semi-stressful prank attached to it?
