The internet has hacks for everything, and one of the main ways people are hearing about them is through TikTok. There are dalgona coffee methods and cocktail tricks aplenty, but now, there's a three-ingredient crème brulée hack that will blow your mind.

This recipe calls for just three things: vanilla ice cream, eggs, and sugar. Not even a blowtorch is required for the caramelized sugar on top! You can make this using just your microwave, stove top, and oven. The recipe was adapted from a Tasty recipe by @shefshaq on TikTok and has become very popular on the app since.

First, you'll melt the ice cream in the microwave, using about a half a cup per serving. Once it's melted, you'll add one egg yolk per serving and whisk it together. From there, you'll pour into a ramekin bowl before baking.

To bake it, you'll want to add hot water into a cake baking pan and then preheat the oven to 325º, you'll put the ramekins into the cake pan. The water should only come up to about half the heigh of the bowls, and you'll leave them to bake for 40-to-50 minutes.

Once they're nice and baked, wait for them to cool down before putting them in the fridge to sit for about two hours. After they're cooled down, you'll caramelize sugar on your stove top and drizzle it on there. This will give a similar effect to what a blowtorch does, and it'll leave a thick layer of hard sugar on top—just like a normal crème brulée.

After the success of dalgona coffee (you can try our recipe here!) it's clear that the people on TikTok seem to know what they're doing. BRB while I go try this out for myself.
