The news around the COVID-19 outbreak is constantly changing, but information about food safety and how to keep yourself healthy is crucial right now. Here is a comprehensive list on the foods you should be stocking up on during this period of social distancing, as well as information about your local grocery stores’ changing hours, an explanation of “no-contact delivery,” and a guide on how to help your community and its businesses throughout closures.

Chef José Andrés has been a tireless advocate for those who need it amid the COVID-19 outbreak, whether it's feeding Washington D.C. firefighters who couldn't find food at their local grocery stores to providing food to quarantined cruise ship passengers and crew through his non-profit World Central Kitchen.

But unless you follow him on social media, you may have missed another thing he's been doing during this period of social distancing, and that's creating #RecipesForThePeople. This hashtag includes him sharing what he's cooking with his daughters, niece, and wife, and inviting others to do the same so that we can all be a little inspired (or jealous!).

In last night's installment, José cooked angel hair pasta and tomato sauce with his family at his home. Besides showing off some (obviously!) super-impressive cooking skills, he also showed off his silly side by rocking out to songs from the broadway musical Hamilton in the background.

José and his family started off the video by saying they wanted to share a recipe that anyone could do, and were trying to pull it together within the length of a song, which in this case was "You'll Be Back" from Hamilton. They acknowledged that cooking in this time-frame, though fun to watch, is VERY hard, so no pressure!

Some highlights of the video include José singing along, running around the kitchen, accidentally dunking part of a towel in his pasta sauce, and sharing some inspirational words. At one point he replied to the lyrics of the song by exclaiming to the camera "You don't belong to me, you belong to yourself!"

Honestly, you really need to watch the video for yourself because it's roughly 10 minutes of chaotic brilliance and pure joy. Even Hamilton creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda approved.

At this point we just need José and fam to cook to the entire Hamilton album. We're thinking burgers to "Burn?" Mac & cheese to "Satisfied?" Paella to "Non-Stop?" We'll take anything!
