In my mind, all great love songs and poems are actually written about chicken parmesan. It is arguably the world's finest culinary creation and it's good on everything from garlic bread to a plate of noodles. Now ALDI has graced us with a new and delicious way to ingest chicken parm and it's INSIDE OF A RAVIOLI.
This blessed discovery was made by Instagrammer @Aldifavoritefinds who posted it very unassumingly as if this was not record-scratching, heart-pumping news. From the looks of the bag, these are frozen raviolis filled with chicken, parmesan, ricotta, and mozzarella cheeses.
A quick search shows that these have actually been hanging around ALDI for a few years, but that doesn't make me any less excited about going to pick them up from the freezer aisle. Raviolis are delicious but the extra addition of chicken and parm inside just puts them totally over the top.
It looks like I'm not alone here, because people were raving about them in the comments of the post.
"Had the Chicken Parmesan ones for supper. We enjoyed them and will buy again!" one person simply put. "Love these !! They are so good!!" another said.
If chicken and cheese isn't your jam, ALDI also sells Italian sausage-filled ravioli if you'd fancy that. The best part is both will run you about $3.99 a bag, so there is truly nothing wrong with picking up both to have on hand for a quick dinner. No shame in being indecisive.
