Everyone knows that the best part about sports is the food. From stadium eats to Super Bowl parties, it's all about the snacks. Chipotle has gotten the memo, apparently, because the chain is offering hockey fans a BOGO deal just for rocking a jersey this week.
On Friday, you can get a kid's meal or entrée free at Chipotle with the purchase of any kid's meal or entrée. You just have to be in a Chipotle wearing a hockey jersey. That means you can feed two kids for the price of one, two adults for the price of one, or one very hungry kid and one adult, for the price of one.
Of course there are some terms to the deal you should know. You can only BOGO two meals of equal or lesser value, meaning if you get a kid's meal and an adult meal, the kid's meal will be free. It's also limited to ten free menu items per check and must be collected by someone wearing a hockey jersey. No online ordering either.
If you're wondering why this deal is happening now considering hockey has been back for months, the deal is in honor of Hockey Week Across America, which coincides with the 40th anniversary of the "Miracle on Ice," which was the moment when the United States hockey team defeated the Soviet Union in 1980. They've made movies about it. You know the one.
In addition to the BOGO deal, you can also get players Charlie McAvoy, Hilary Knight, Jack Hughes, and Kendall Coyne Schofield's go-to Chipotle orders online until the 23rd. The options all sound pretty delicious, so if you're looking for something new, check 'em out! Otherwise, grab your favorite hockey fans, put on your jerseys and pick up some cheap burritos before this weekend's games. It's kind of a no brainer.
