A trip to Target is the answer to most of life's problems. You can buy groceries, toys, home decor, and now you can top off your trip with an ICEE from the Target café that is—drum roll, please—baby narwhal-flavored.
Target is no stranger to vague and ambiguous ICEE flavors; last spring the superstore had a mermaid ICEE that tasted like blue raspberry. For the holiday season, Target introduced the elf-flavored ICEE that was bright green in color and was a flavored with a mix of cherry and lime.
While this baby narwhal ICEE has a cute name and all, no one has any idea what it tastes like! The slush itself is a light pink color that makes it look like something that would be bubble gum- or cotton candy-flavored.
ICEE posted a photo of the drink on its Facebook page, and people were sounding off in the comments trying to imagine what the drink could possibly taste like. "What does a baby narwhal taste like? 'Fishy' and 'Icee' aren't 2 things I normally like to mix," wrote one user. One commenter said their kid got one of these ICEEs and it tasted a bit like cotton candy but it's hard to pinpoint the exact flavor.
In my not-so-expert opinion, I would say that the flavor is probably similar to the many colorful and sweet unicorn-themed food and drinks we've seen before. After all, narwhals are the unicorns of the sea and making the flavor baby narwhals seriously ups the cute factor. Looks like I'm going to Target this weekend!
