Short of making cookies with specialty cookie cutters, trying to make desserts in fun shapes can be difficult. And when you throw in trying to make a whole cheesecake, one of the hardest desserts out there...well, hard pass. Luckily, Costco has us covered with this heart-shaped chocolate-covered cheesecake for Valentine's Day.
This cheesecake isn't from the Costco bakery, but from the famed Junior’s Restaurant in New York City. These guys know their cheesecake, so this thing is bound to be delicious. And that's a good thing, because there is a LOT of it. This is one seriously massive cheesecake complete with a chocolate coating, more chocolate icing, and sprinkles on the side.
Trying to make such an elaborate cheesecake yourself would take a lot of time, money, and let's face it, drive that most of us just don't really have. Life is tough, buy store-bought cheesecake. Put that on a embroidered pillow.
The cake was spotted by Instagrammer @CostcoBuys at their local Costco in Michigan. While all Costcos have their own different selections, according to commenters, it's also been spotted in Indiana, so it's definitely worth keeping your eyes peeled.
If you do happen to see it, the cheesecake can be yours for $19.98. I have a feeling your valentine will love it. If you can't find it? Well there are plenty of other heart-shaped desserts out there. And I guess, if worse comes to worst, you could make your own! Come onnnn, it'll be fun!
