Gordon Ramsay is set to be the face of new online and IRL slot machines. Gordon and Hell's Kitchen are in the process of becoming the plot for the gambling games by the end of 2020.
License Global reported that the famous chef's game will be coming to NetEnt, an online gaming platform that hosts dozens of different programs. Gordon's licensing agency, Global Merchandising Services, is collaborating with NetEnt to come up with the gaming concept, which will work similar to a casino's slot machine. A spokesperson for NetEnt said that Gordon and his personality makes for the perfect gaming character.
"Gordon Ramsay is a true rock star of the restaurant world. His strong personality and use of colorful vocabulary as front man of Hell’s Kitchen have earned him legend status as a multi-Michelin starred celebrity chef, with fans all over the world," the spokesperson said. "Just as importantly, this allows us to produce a true slot with a strong narrative and a lot of adult fun! We can’t wait to see what our players think of what we have in store for them.”
According to The Sun, back in January, Gordon and his team started applying for a trademark with the UK Intellectual Property Office. The application apparently mentioned "a website for online gambling, gambling services in the nature of online slot machines and lottery services."
Gordon also has a Hell's Kitchen restaurant location in Caesers Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. There's no telling if the Hell's Kitchen-themed slot game will make it to Las Vegas too, or when exactly the online slot is coming, so for now we'll just have to binge old Hell's Kitchen episodes to pass the time.
