ICYMI: The Super Bowl is this Sunday, and people are busy predicting who will emerge victorious. Will the Kansas City Chiefs or the San Francisco 49ers win the Vince Lombardi trophy? According to Chrissy Teigen’s daughter Luna, the answer is actually, um, neither of them?
Chrissy, her husband John Legend, and Luna (who is 3, by the way) talked everything Super Bowl in a new YouTube video, and it’s hilarious. In it, the trio is seated by a huge spread of Super Bowl-worthy food that will make you SO hungry. While Chrissy admitted that she doesn’t love football, she said she loves talking about football: "I love football parties, I love going to the Super Bowl."
“I know when something’s about to happen,” Chrissy said, noting that she's made plenty of accurate predictions over the years. John agreed, and even offered up a freaky example of how Chrissy said the Seattle Seahawks were “about to make a colossal, historic mistake” during the 2015 Super Bowl.
Chrissy said she’s not even sure why she said it (“I was about six hot dogs deep...drunk”) but she was right. She apparently also helped call it when the New England Patriots came back from a huge deficit to win the Super Bowl in 2017. “I’m clairvoyant, basically,” Chrissy said.
Finally, they got to predictions, which were made while there were still four teams in the playoffs. Chrissy picked the Green Bay Packers vs. Tennessee Titans, which was way off. “As a clairvoyant, there are just certain words that stick out to me more,” she said. John, on the other hand, correctly picked Kansas City vs. San Francisco. Then, Luna weighed in with her prediction of who would win: “No one.” “It’s true. We’re all losers here,” Chrissy quipped.
The whole thing wrapped up with Luna, Chrissy, and John sharing their favorite recipe for a “kiss sandwich,” which featured Chrissy and John adorably smooching their toddler on the cheeks from both sides. Hey, everybody wins!
