We've been DIYing cereal treats for years. If you're creative, you've probably ditched Rice Krispies at some point to instead make a similar, marshmallow-adhered treat out of other cereals, like Honey Nut Cheerios, for one. If you did this, boy, do I have some news for you! Honey Nut Cheerios Treats are a thing that you can buy straight off the shelves now. Rejoice, y'all!

Now, if you consider yourself a cereal connoisseur you may be thinking "I swear I've seen these things before!" Close but no cigar, because the old Cheerios bars you're thinking of are the Honey Nut Cheerios Milk 'N Cereal bars of years past with the milky center. Those bars are no longer widely available but can be found online and at some grocers.

These new bars are a different ball game. Milk 'N Cereal Bars walked so these Honey Nut Cheerios Treats could run, ya feel? These new treats were spotted by @Junkfoodonthego at Target and look like the breakfast bar of dreams.

From the packaging, these bars look like they have the gooeyness to keep all the Cheerios together, but have a frosted bottom and a drizzle right on top. It's not clear if the bottom and drizzle is a frosting, a white chocolate, or maybe even a sort of honey-infused concoction to really bring out the honey in the honey nut. Oh, and by the way? Each package comes with eight bars so breakfast for the week is all set.

The frostiness and the crunchy-yet-sweet flavor make this breakfast item give me major Kudos bar vibes. Remember those? Using a more classic cereal would make this what I would actually grab for in the morning for sure.
