It's the middle of January, which means that many stores are already in spring mode. Though we love cold weather, you can't deny there is something pretty exciting about springtime: the sunshine, cute clothes, and all the delicious things that will be hitting shelves...including these new pink Easter Egg Oreos.
These guys were spotted by Instagrammer @ThreeSnackateers waaaaaay ahead of Easter time. From the looks of it, these are actually Golden Oreos that have been dyed pink and made to look like decorated Easter eggs. As @ThreeSnackateers pointed out, these aren't any fancy flavor, they're just festive and fun. Fine by me!
Each pack contains five different Easter egg designs and if you're anything like me, they probably look a lot better than whatever you happened to decorate as a kid...or now. This, of course, isn't the first time that Oreo has released an Easter cookie (remember its Peeps flavors?) and it also came out with egg-shaped cookies last year, but this seems to be a totally new creation.
Oreo confirmed to us that these will be available for a limited time starting next month and since Easter isn't until April 12 this year, that just means a whole lot more time to enjoy them. For now, it's there's still plenty of time to enjoy our Valentine's Day candy and try to win that $100,000 prize Oreo has on the line. Should keep us all plenty busy!
