As every Coca-Cola super-fan knows, the company releases different and totally unique flavors around the world. Among others, there’s Green Tea Coke, Raspberry Coke, and Coke Blak, a Coke that’s combined with coffee.

Recently, Coca-Cola released a flavor in Japan that is going to make you want to hop on a flight to the country ASAP. It’s called Coca-Cola Vanilla Float, and it was spotted by Instagram account @SnackBetch. “Limited edition Coca-Cola Vanilla Float flavor! Exclusive to Japan as of right now... jealous!” they wrote in the caption.

It looks like the flavor was released back in the summer of 2019, so if you live in Japan, it's likely you've known about this for a bit. But news of the drink is hitting stateside now, and it's safe to say we all definitely want to try it.

“Sooooo jealous of Japan right now,” one person wrote in the comments of @SnackBetch's post. “I am peanut butter and jelly right now,” another said.

Others really, really wanted to try it. “Let's sponsor one foodie to go out to Japan and get us a whole bunch of these,” one person suggested.

But at least one person said the yummy-sounding flavor isn’t as exciting IRL as it seems. “It’s a letdown, it’s basically just Japan’s version of Vanilla Coke SMFH,” they wrote. Womp womp.

Really want to get your hands on a bottle, but don’t want to travel all the way around the world? The website 99Japan.com is currently selling them for $4.99 a bottle (plus shipping), Napa Japan had it for $5.99 (though it's currently sold out), and you can find it on eBay for $14. It’s not cheap but, then again, neither is a flight to Japan...
