In case you missed it, Starbucks dropped some big news on us yesterday, and that news was THREE new drinks made with plant-based milks like almond milk, coconut milk, and oat milk (in select cities). But if you visited your local Starbucks to pick one up, you may also have noticed that Starbucks also brought back one of its most-beloved winter drinks: the Smoked Butterscotch Latte.
Starbucks confirmed that both the Butterscotch Latte and Butterscotch Frappuccino will be back in stores for a limited time, starting now. If you've never had one before, both drinks features smoked butterscotch with espresso and steamed milk with a smoky butterscotch topping. Doesn't that just make you want to curl up??
The drink was first introduced alllll the way back in 2016 alongside a Citrus Green Tea Latte (TBT!!) and since then, fans have enjoyed it winter after winter. Sure, we all love a new drink innovation, but let's be real, comfort really looks like ordering your favorite drink over and over again. Okay, maybe that's just the Taurus in me, but you get it right?
Like all good things, this drink will only be sticking around for a limited time, so there has never been a better time to snap one up. If it's unseasonably warm in your area, now might also be the time to snap it up in Frappuccino form because goodness knows we'll be back to the freezing cold before you know it.
