After refusing a shot from Mario Lopez on the red carpet, Golden Globe winner Brad Pitt confessed his eagerness to instead eat an entire bag of Twizzlers after the awards show was over.
"I do like a Twizzler," Pitt told the Access Hollywood host.
"After? Alright, good," Lopez responded. "I'm glad you like Twizzlers before Red Vines."
"I will do one of these bags in a sitting," Pitt said after being offered what appeared to be at minimum a 16 oz. bag of the iconic cherry flavor.
"You will crush that?" Lopez questioned in seriousness.
"Crush it!" Pitt exclaimed.
"See, that's how I judge an individual," Lopez confessed. "That's one part of my criteria: If they go Red Vines over Twizzler, then I know they've got an issue. Right?"
"Yeah, I question that myself," Pitt added. "But, you know, different strokes..."
After he accepted the award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture, Pitt ended up being upstaged by his ex-wife, "Friends" star Jennifer Anniston, whose reactions were caught in full view of the camera.
Jenn was spotted smirking as her ex said, "I wanted to bring my mom [to the Golden Globes]. But I couldn’t, because any woman I stand next to they say I’m dating."
While I'm team Jenn, I give Brad props for coming down on the right side of the heated Twizzlers vs. Red Vines debate, which is so horribly divisive. In honor of his correct choice, I ate four pieces of my favorite flavor, strawberry, which IMO is the superior Twizzlers flavor. Don't @ me.
