It's that horrible time after the holiday season when it's still freezing, but we basically have nothing to look forward to for months...some call it winter. And though it may not exactly seem like the most ideal time to get pumped about eating some ice cream, once you hear this news from Dairy Queen, you might just change your mind.

Dairy Queen announced that Heath Caramel Brownie will be its Blizzard of the Month for January. It first began selling the Blizzard this fall, but since then we've had Pumpkin Pie and Peppermint Hot Cocoa Blizzards to think about, so you'd be forgiven for not giving it a try yet.

In case you did indeed miss it, this Blizzard is made up of vanilla soft serve swirled with Heath bar pieces, brownie pieces, and caramel. The Impulsive Buy gave this one a try back in September and gave it rave reviews, saying that the toffee, caramel, and chocolate flavors all blend together pretty well. Since there are so many different elements involved, you might get a slightly different ratio of flavors each time, so that should be all the motivation you need to order a few.

While I haven't tried this one yet, I have been burning the candle that smells like it for months, and let me tell you, it's pretty great.

This one isn't outright seasonal, so you can probably count on it sticking around for at least a little bit, but let's be honest...after hearing the description of this Blizzard, you probably don't want to wait much longer to try it.
