The world can be a dark place. It just seems like there is always something bad coming around the horizon...but what you're about to see will make you forget about all that for a while and just feel blissful.
I'm of course referring to this amazing Baby Yoda pie created by Jessica Leigh Clark-Bojin, known on Instagram by the very good name @thepieous. It's impossible to look at this creation without smiling and marveling at him. She has taken the iconic Baby Yoda sipping soup meme and given him a festive makeover.
He has a tiny Santa hat! He is drinking hot chocolate COMPLETE with marshmallows and a candy cane! He is green! All of this should not distract you from the rest of the pie's crust, which is made up of leaves, candy canes, and all sorts of other festive things.
People, of course, loved the pie and the comments are full of rave reviews.
"This is too cute!!!" one person wrote.
"You're not real life," another said.
Clark-Bojin, who is also a host on the Food Network, created the raspberry pie as part of her "12 Days of Crustmas" Instagram series. She told Insider that she was inspired to make this little Baby Yoda thanks to a Star Wars advent calendar her son has, which featured a Porg wearing a Santa hat on the front.
She said it took her two hours (which seems like a weirdly short amount of time??) to make the crust and paint it. Pretty damn impressive if you consider she also said that four years ago she couldn't crack an egg correctly.
While we all can't make impressive Yoda pies this season, we can all pre-order a Baby Yoda toy, print out the confirmation, give it to someone as a gift, and then eat pie. Same thing, IMO!
