Back in November, Chili's gave away free home decor products to help make houses everywhere resemble the casual dining chain. Along with the free giveaways, the restaurant hosted a contest in which one of their rewards members would win a $30,000 home renovation. Well, the results are in and the home makeover has been done. I have to say, this house looks amazing.
According to a press release, Chili's received over 18,000 entries to the contest. The lucky winners were the Arnett family from Lexington, KY, who showed off their love for Chili's in their submission video. They even put their newborn in Chili's merch!
Senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Chili’s Ellie Doty said that seeing how Chili's was a part of the Arnett family's life amidst the chaos of a new baby was a big reason they won the home makeover.
Chili's brought in HGTV design star Brian Patrick Flynn to decorate the Arnett home and the pictures are insane. Now, you may be thinking that you wouldn't want your house to look like a restaurant chain and I get that, but this home decor is not that. It's colorful and coordinated with very subtle hints of Chili's around the house, like cast iron skillets and a neon sign, for example.
The family said in a statement that they plan to host Christmas at their newly renovated house. The real question is...will they be serving Chili's?
