Let's just nip this in the bud now: "The Holidays" last from December 22 (the first day of Hanukkah) until January 1 (New Year's Day). The time in between Christmas/Hanukkah and New Year's is a lawless wasteland in which we all need to have a good time, maybe save some money for New Year's bar tabs, and just generally do whatever we want. In the spirit of that, Taco Bell is helping us out a bit this year with a post-Christmas re-introduction of its $1 Double Stacked Tacos.
The Double Stacked Taco is a beautiful thing. It's made up of both a hard shell and a soft tortilla for double the deliciousness and double the ability to keep your fillings inside your taco.
It was first made available back in 2016 but has been missing from the Taco Bell menu ever since. This time, it's back in three different varieties: Nacho Crunch, Chipotle Cheddar, and Reaper Ranch, so that's basically three new menu items to enjoy.
The best part is they're only $1 and they're joining the rest of the items on Taco Bell's Cravings Value Menu, which will now boast 21 items on it. That's a whole lot of stuff you can get for super, super cheap. And after the holidays, that's exactly what we need.
You can expect to see these at your local Taco Bell starting on December 26, AKA that time when you're way too broke and way to tired to be cooking at home. Snag them for the family on your way home from that first shift back at work, or when you're battling the post-holiday traffic traveling back from your hometown. You might just make a 2020 resolution to eat way more tacos.
