Girl Scout cookie season is literally never long enough. It seems like before you know it, you're digging for one last Thin Mint in the depths of your freezer before enduring months without them. Thankfully, the cookie season is almost back, and this year, we're getting more great news: Dunkin' is bringing back two Girl Scout Cookie-inspired coffee flavors.
Dunkin', under a licensing agreement with Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA), first dropped Girl Scout Cookie-inspired flavors back in early 2018 and they were a huge hit—so much so that they returned again in late 2018. Now, Delish has exclusively learned that we will soon be reunited with some of our favorite drinks once again, starting in early 2020.
Though the line-up has varied each year, returning this year are coffees inspired by the sweet and creamy flavors of the Coconut Caramel cookie, as well cool and refreshing Thin Mints. You can get these in espresso drinks as well as hot and iced coffee, Cold Brew, frozen coffee, and frozen chocolate.
To sweeten the deal, Dunkin’ franchisees will be welcoming Girl Scouts to sell their cookies at select Dunkin’ locations across the country. That means you can pick up a sweet coffee and score a box of the cookies to match, all on your morning commute.
As for when you can expect them to hit a Dunkin' near you? Well, it's a New Years treat! They'll start being available starting on January 1 at participating Dunkin’ restaurants nationwide and the drinks will last through the beginning of spring 2020. Suddenly I'm excited for the new year...
