I like alcohol, and I like cheese. In fact, I like to enjoy these two things together on occasion. If you're anything like me, go ahead and praise the heavens because ALDI just made enjoying these two things even easier...with alcohol-infused cheese. I have feelings!
ALDI is the underdog of grocery stores, in my opinion, and while they always have the basics, some more creative alternatives always seem to be hitting the shelves. Starting next week, two cheesy options are hitting stores and are flavored with liquor...whiskey, vodka, and Irish creme liqueur, to be exact.
The whiskey cheese is appropriately called "Whiskey Business" and from photos, it looks pretty unsuspecting. This might be dangerous. I'd assume it must have some sort of bite to it, but the alcohol infusion would make this the perfect edition to any charcuterie board or party appetizer.
The other cheese is the "Boozeberry Vodka Cheddar" which confuses me but intrigues me. The addition of blueberry probably helps to soften the vodka taste of the cheddar with a fruity essence. Next is the Irish creme cheese, which gives me major holiday season vibes and I'm into it.
If you're still not sold on the alcohol and cheese combo, you can keep your love for these two things separate by getting your hands on an ALDI cheese ornament or an ALDI wine New Year's countdown calendar. Just follow whatever your cheese-loving and liquor-drinking heart desires, we won't judge.
