Calling all sea-folk and Pop-Tarts obsessives: Pop-Tarts released something fishy, and no, it’s not a salmon or tuna flavor (grateful, because ew). It’s dreamy, mermaid-inspired Pop-Tarts that'll make you want to take a deep dive straight into the box.
These Mer-Mazing Blue Raspberry Pop-Tarts were spotted at Walmart by Instagrammer @thetastyturtle. (Peep the profile pic, because it’s adorable.) The brain behind the account hunts down new food products and shares food reviews on the reg.
These mythical treats have a blue raspberry filling, of course. Each one is covered in white icing with a mermaid design on it. The box also says “mix and match.” Based off of their past mix and match drops like these Sugar Cookie Pop-Tarts that feature animals wearing winter sweaters, we can assume some of these Pop-Tarts have the top half of a mermaid’s body and some have the bottom half. You can have pretty food and play with it, too!
Pop-Tarts never fails to come out with a new must-have flavor, and this isn’t the first mythical-themed one. Cherry frosted Pop-Tarts featuring the face of a rainbow-haired unicorn came out last year.
So to continue this mythical and certainly magical energy here....can we get Baby Yoda Pop-Tarts next? Or better yet, Baby Yoda meme Pop-Tarts? ‘Cause that little thing is pretty damn magical in cuteness alone.
